But exactly what should you do to get that perfect walk? Allow us to share some tips and tricks that will get you to walk in heels like a pro.

 

Make sure your heels are the right size

 

Walking in heels that are too small for you, will give you blisters before you even get to your destination that day. If you’re wearing heels that are too big for you, your toes will cramp up with the weight of the heel that they have to carry while you’re struggling to stop yourself from slipping out of them. At Feraggio we take your heel size very seriously. So seriously that we added half sizes to our collection. It’s hard to have the perfect size 39 or 40. Many of us find ourselves somewhere in between, which is why we offer you size 39,5. Hence, every size has a half size at Feraggio. Strengthen your core for a great posture

 

“Straighten your back!” is something that we hear from our mothers while growing up. Besides the fact that it's good for your posture, it makes walking in heels easier. Straightening your back and keeping it that way has a lot to do with the strength of your core. Some choose to do Pilates, others like to resort to classic ab crunches within the comfort of their own home. Whatever you prefer, working on your core is not only good for health, or strengthening your core, it’ll also give you an amazing posture while walking in a fabulous pair of Feraggios.

 

 

Take time to get from A to B

 

We live in society that seems to revolve around keeping ourselves busy constantly. We’re always in a rush and barely have a moment to slow down. When you’re trying to get from A to B, we recommend leaving 15 minutes earlier. Give yourself some room to breathe and those extra minutes to be able to walk (and not run) in your heels, arriving at your destination looking relaxed and ready for everything life has in store for you.

 

 

Tone your legs while watching TV

 

We found a great tip from Dr. Suzanne Levine, a podiatrist at Institute Beauté in New York City. “Write letters of the alphabet with your feet daily to help strengthen the 38 muscles that are in your feet. Do this in bed or on the couch while watching TV.”
